Save-the-Date: GAPFA Technical Congress & AGM 2026 - Ottawa, Canada - 21-24 June 2026

15 October 2025, Brussels, Belgium - The Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA) is pleased to announce that preparations are underway for the GAPFA Technical Congress & Annual General Meeting 2026, which will take place in Ottawa, Canada, from 21–24 June 2026.

Hosted by the Pet Food Association of Canada (PFAC), next year’s Congress will bring together the global pet food community for four days of technical exchange, strategic discussion, and international collaboration in Canada’s capital.

“Preparations for the 2026 Technical Congress are progressing very well, and we are excited to work closely with PFAC to deliver an engaging and high-quality programme for our members and the global pet food community,” said Sebastian Csaki, Secretary General of GAPFA. “We look forward to welcoming the GAPFA community to Ottawa next June.”

As in previous years, the GAPFA Board of Directors has appointed a Congress Organising Committee to support GAPFA and PFAC in shaping the technical agenda and identifying expert speakers.

Members and interested stakeholders are encouraged to save the dates – 21–24 June 2026 – and contact the GAPFA Secretariat with any questions. Further logistical information, including hotel and venue specifics as well as registration instructions, will be circulated in due course early in 2026. We look forward to seeing you in Ottawa next June.
