15 October 2025, Brussels, Belgium - The Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA) is pleased to announce that it is now officially welcoming applications for its new Affiliate Membership category.
The introduction of the Affiliate Membership category marks an important milestone in GAPFA’s evolution and reflects the Alliance’s commitment to engaging a broader range of organizations that contribute to the global pet food ecosystem.
This new membership pathway expands GAPFA’s global network by enabling collaboration with organizations that provide essential goods, services, and expertise to the pet food sector. Eligible entities include internationally active ingredient suppliers, packaging and equipment manufacturers, analytical laboratories, logistics companies, and allied industry associations.
Supporting GAPFA’s Global Mission
GAPFA represents over 90% of global prepared pet food production through its member associations. The Alliance works to advance pet food safety, nutrition, sustainability, and trade by supporting the development of global standards, engaging with regulators and stakeholders, and promoting science-based information worldwide.
