Registration Now Open for GAPFA Congress 2026 in Ottawa, 21-24 June 2026

Brussels, Belgium - The Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the GAPFA Technical Congress & Annual General Meeting 2026, which will take place in Ottawa, Canada, from 21–24 June 2026.

Hosted by the Pet Food Association of Canada (PFAC), next year’s Congress will bring together the global pet food community for four days of technical exchange, strategic discussion, and international collaboration in Canada’s capital.

“Preparations for the 2026 Technical Congress are progressing very well, and we are excited to work closely with PFAC to deliver an engaging and high-quality programme for our members and the global pet food community,” said Sebastian Csaki, Secretary General of GAPFA. “We look forward to welcoming the GAPFA community to Ottawa next June.”

The Congress will take place at the historic Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel in Ottawa. The Technical Congress on 23 June 2026 will feature an excellent speaker line-up and a comprehensive programme developed with the support of the global Congress Organizing Committee.

GAPFA members and interested stakeholders are invited to join the Technical Congress. Participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their place. Attendees are also advised to book their Hotel accommodation early, as availability is limited.

  • Sunday, 21 June 2026 – GAPFA Board Meeting & Welcome Reception
  • Monday, 22 June 2026 – GAPFA Workstream Meetings
  • Tuesday, 23 June 2026 – GAPFA Technical Congress
  • Wednesday, 24 June 2026 – GAPFA Annual General Meeting
