Save-the-date: GAPFA Technical Congress & AGM 2027 in Liverpool on 14-16 June 2027

Brussels, Belgium – The Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA) is pleased to announce that the GAPFA Technical Congress & Annual General Meeting 2027 will take place in Liverpool, United Kingdom, from 14-16 June 2027, hosted by FEDIAF, the European Pet Food Industry Federation.

Building on the success of the 2026 GAPFA Technical Congress & AGM in Ottawa, Canada, the Liverpool Congress will once again bring together GAPFA members and experts from across the global pet food sector for technical exchange, collaboration and strategic dialogue.

The annual GAPFA Technical Congress provides an important forum for members to exchange knowledge and perspectives on key technical and regulatory developments affecting the pet food sector worldwide. The programme will include discussions across GAPFA’s key areas of work, including food safety and trade facilitation, nutrition and communications, alongside opportunities for networking and engagement among GAPFA members and partners.

“We are delighted to bring the GAPFA Technical Congress to Liverpool in 2027 and are very grateful to FEDIAF and the local organising team for hosting us,” said Florian Wastl, GAPFA President. “The Congress is an important opportunity for our global membership and international leaders and experts to come together, share expertise and strengthen collaboration on the issues shaping the future of the pet food sector.”
