They are committed to positive behavior change, so the project's central strategy is awareness raising. The target audience is 15,000 children from public and private child education (kindergartens and preschools) and elementary school I (grades 1-5) in the region, plus another 20,000 children through the support of the commercial representatives in the states of Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina and São Paulo.
As an instrument of awareness raising, they chose to produce a comic book that brings, each issue, stories of a set of characters dealing with problems such as bullying, respect for differences, endangered animals and waste management. Involved in unexpected plots, the characters reflect on problems and solutions that value the change of attitude with the environment and social coexistence.
The implementation takes place in partnership with the Departments of Education of the municipalities involved, in dialogue with the Secretaries of Education, secretariat technicians, school principals and teachers.
